Adam was the founder and artistic director of the Campbell Bay Music Festival, held annually from 2009-2024 on SḴŦAḴ / Mayne Island.

Adam teaches fiddle, guitar, audio engineering, arranging, ensemble playing, and music theory, with a focus on developing musicianship and listening skills.

He has taught at music camps including Goderich Celtic College, AlgomaTrad, Gavin Lake Fiddle ‘Treat, and the Victoria Conservatory Fiddle Camp.

Adam offers instruction and programs for high school students, and is frequently a guest instructor for the Gulf Island Secondary School advanced music class “GISPA” on Salt Spring Island. Adam has also coached the Victoria-based youth string ensemble Coastline.
